The Aigüestortes and Saint Maurici Lake National Park is one of the lungs of the Pyrenees of Lleida and the only National Park in Catalonia. It is located in the north of Lleida between the counties of Pallars Sobirà and the Alta Ribagorça. It has an extension of 14.119 hectares and was declared a National Park in 1995.
