Time goes by slowly in the mountain valleys of the Lleida province. Despite its reduced population, it has maintained its identity with the characteristics of its Romanesque churches, crystalline waters, delicious gastronomy … From our campsites, each experience has its own name: that of cultural patrimony which contains truly magnificent constructions immersed in a superb landscape. The Romanesque, in all its splendor, finds its reference point in the Boí Valley. One of the most interesting in Europe, declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO, are the temples built by Taüll and Erill la Vall. The integration, in a beautiful natural area, of these simple and austere constructions complements and highlights the landscape. How did they arrive to these distant villages nestled in the mountains in the 12th century?
